Southern Minnesota Parkinson’s support group to meet

The Southern Minnesota Parkinson support group will meet Tuesday at the Albert Lea Senior Citizens Center in Skyline Plaza. The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. with coffee and rolls. There will be program, fellowship time and a wrap up on the American Parkinson Disease Association Optimism Walk to be held in Como Park Pavilion at Black Bear Crossings on the Lake in St. Paul on Saturday. This is a fundraising event and celebration to benefit people living with Parkinson’s Disease in Minnesota. Festivities include an educational health fair, the walk, silent auction, refreshments and children’s activities as well as an update on research by Dr. Bryan Klassen, Mayo Clinic neurologist.
