Suspicious vehicle reported

Albert Lea police received a report of people in a black SUV offering children cocaine and candy from their cars near the intersection of East Front Street and South Newton Avenue at 10:15 p.m. Friday.

 

Burglary reported

A burglary was reported at 25503 665th Ave., Alden, at 3:58 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

 

Assault reported

Albert Lea police received a report at 2:36 p.m. Saturday of two people who were assaulted on Jefferson Avenue. The altercation was over a dog. More information was unavailable as of press time.

 

Items reported stolen

Two iPods and a watch were reported taken from 86682 173rd St., in Oakland Township, at 11:38 a.m. Sunday, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Storage unit broken into

A storage unit at 310 W. Seventh St. was reported broken into at 1:25 p.m. Sunday, according to police.
