Two people were injured Monday evening after a Jeep reportedly turned in front of another car on Clark Street in front of St. Theodore Catholic Church.
According to police, Debra King, 60, of Albert Lea, was driving westbound in a 1992 maroon Jeep when she reportedly turned in front of a 2012 black Nissan driven by Angela Beloate, 30, of Albert Lea.
Beloate and her son Dakota Anderson, 10, were taken to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Albert Lea.
King reportedly told police she had sun in her eyes and did not see the other vehicle when she was making the turn.
