A set of stairs on the side of Poole Electric on Clark Street were reportedly run into sometime during the night on Wednesday. The incident was reported to police at 9:42 a.m. Thursday, according to reports.

Two arrested

Thad Christian Cummins, 35, and Steffaine Renee Madson, 33, were arrested just before noon on Thursday during a traffic stop near West Ninth Street and U.S. Highway 69. According to police reports, a Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped the car after authorities received a call about 10 minutes earlier of two suspicious people who reportedly bought a box of ephedrine at Walgreens and were headed to Curt’s Pharmacy afterward. Another woman was transported to the Law Enforcement Center with a minor child, reports stated.

Woman cited for DWI

A woman was cited for fourth-degree DWI and leaving the scene of an accident at 1 a.m. today near the intersection of Newton Street and East Second Street after she reportedly hit a pole and ran away from the scene down Newton Avenue, reports stated.

Fire reported

A fire was reported in the fryer flues on the roof of Cargill at 702 E. 13th St. at 2:22 a.m. today, according to reports.

Car broken into

A car was reported broken into on the 800 block of West Clark Street at 3:40 a.m. today. Reports indicated there was a felony amount of damage done to the car.

Prescription drug theft reported

A theft of prescription drugs was reported on the 80000 block of 150th Street in Glenville at 4:10 p.m. Thursday, according to Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office reports.
