WASHINGTON — A Minnesota Democratic congressman has added his voice to GOP calls in Washington for administration officials to be fired over the rocky rollout of the new health care law.
Rep. Rick Nolan told reporters Wednesday that the health law’s brand has been damaged. He urged the president to “man up, find out who was responsible, and fire them.” He didn’t name who should go.
Top Obama administration officials, particularly Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, are under fire for technology woes plaguing the law’s centerpiece website. It is the backbone of the health insurance signup process and has proven unreliable.
