Arc of Freeborn County: Arc will be holding their annual soup and chili fundraiser supper on Nov. 18 and would welcome volunteers. They have the following shifts: 9 a.m. to noon – chop vegetables and cook; noon to 4 p.m. – cook and stir pots; and 4 to 7:30 p.m. – sell tickets, serve, bus tables. If you can volunteer, call 377-3469 for more information and to reserve a time that works for you.

Senior Resources front desk: The Senior Resources office in the Skyline Plaza is looking for people to assist at their front desk, answering the phone and assisting with general office tasks. If you are available for half-day shifts once or twice a week or even as an occasional substitute, we’d be happy to see you! Call Carol Soma or Marilynn Lancaster at 377-7433.

Salvation Army meals: The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to help prepare and serve meals at 302 Court St., Albert Lea. Since meals are available Mondays through Fridays, they’d welcome volunteers any of those days, with shifts starting around 9 a.m. and ending after the lunch hour.
