Hawthorne Elementary School students will present a Veterans Day program at 1 p.m. Monday in the Hawthorne Elementary gymnasium. The program will include all fourth and fifth grade Hawthorne students singing patriotic songs and performing on various instruments and kindergarten students announcing the branches of military and community service. Honored guests participating in the program will be members of Albert Lea’s American Legion Post 56, presenting a flag-folding ceremony.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend, as we remember and celebrate the service and sacrifice of members of our nation’s military branches.
