Century tops Albert Lea in girls’ swimming

Rochester Century’s Claire Anderson set two pools records and the Panthers picked up a 92-85 victory over Albert Lea Tuesday in Albert Lea.
Anderson broke the pool record in the 200-yard freestyle by more than a second. Anderson swam the event in 2 minutes, 2.34 seconds to break the old record of 2:04.16. Anderson also broke the 100 fly record with a time of 1:00.80.
Galen Schulz placed second in the 200 free with a time of 2:13.11 and the 100 free with a time of 1:01.78. Amy Horejsi took second in the 50 free with a time of 27.34. Karli Kriewall won the 1-meter diving with a score of 147.30. Katie Walechka took third with a score of 126.55.
Whitney Rasmussen won the 100 back with a time of 1:07:53
