Medic Spc. Matt Bakken was deployed to Kuwait during ceremonies conducted at Fort Snelling on Nov. 8. Bakken is a member of the 452nd Combat Support Hospital Iron Medics. He has completed tours in Iraq in 2007 and Afghanistan in 2009.
