The short-handed Glenville-Emmons volleyball team fell 25-19, 25-16, 25-11 to Spring Grove Tuesday in Glenville in the season-opener.

Kalli VanRyswyk, Alayna Hall and Devin Cooper each had three kills for the Wolverines. April Davies recorded six assists while Hall had 13 digs and 10 serve receives. Emily Belshan went 7-for-7 at the service line.

“I was very pleased with the way we hustled after the ball,” said Glenville-Emmons head coach Lisa Ziebell.

The Wolverines play Southland Tuesday in Glenville.
