The Sons of Norway Normanna Lodge members met Nov. 16 at the Freeborn County Historial Museum. Following the business meeting, Norway exchange student Elise Hein Baera shared slides of her hometown of Skeim, Norway, the Norweigian Constitution Day parade and more. She answered the lodge member’s questions about religion in Norway, the monetary exchange rate, interesting places to visit, cultural foods and more. The group found it interesting to learn that Friday is traditional taco night, Saturday is traditional pizza night and Sunday was the big dinner day with family including grandparents. The next meeting of Sons of Norway will be at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 21 at the Freeborn County Historical Museum.
