Judy and Joel Vano of Albert Lea announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to Nicholas Anderson, son of Todd and Joan Anderson of Tomah, Wis.

The bride is a 2012 graduate of Albert Lea High School and is attending Concordia University in St. Paul with a major in director of Christian education and a minor in music.

The groom is a 2012 graduate of Tomah High School and is attending Concordia University majoring in theology and pre-seminary. He is also in the Army Reserve.

An Aug. 17, 2014, wedding is planned at Zion Lutheran Church in Albert Lea during the church’s 10:30 a.m. worship service.
