Blood drive concludes at Armory

The Freeborn-Mower chapter of the American Red Cross collected 133 pints of blood Thursday at its blood drive at the National Guard Armory where the goal was 110 pints.
One-gallon pins were earned by Jackie Stene and Jonathan Murray of Albert Lea and Joy Robinson of Clarks Grove. Two-gallon pins were awarded to Jill Morstad and Barry Mozer of Albert Lea and Gary Westland and Brad Schuhmacher of Glenville. Other pins were as follows: a three-gallon pin was awarded to Allison Golie of Albert Lea, five-gallon pin to Allan Martinson of Albert Lea, eight-gallon pin to Louanna Pederson of Albert Lea and a nine-gallon pin to Sandra Stephens of Albert Lea.
On Friday, the final day of the blood drive at the Armory, 60 units of blood were collected, short of the goal of 100.
A one-gallon pin was awarded to John Miller of Oakland, and two-gallon pins were awarded to Bill Lehman of Glenville and Therese Claussen and Laura Lunde of Albert Lea.
