Memorial services for James B. Cameron, 59, of Albert Lea will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. The Revs. James Kassera and Bakke will officiate. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery this spring. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Online condolences are welcome at www.bayviewfuneral.com.
Jim died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, at St. John’s Lutheran Community.
James Brian Cameron was born on Nov. 18, 1954, in Albert Lea to James W. and Fern K. (Mielke) Cameron. Jim grew up in Albert Lea and graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1973. After graduation Jim had many adventures. He was a lover of fishing, strategic games and coin collecting. Most of all, Jim enjoyed time spent with his family. In his younger years he worked at Busy Bee Shoe Shop as a cobbler and also at Perkins as a dishwasher. Jim will be missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his mother, Fern; children Steve and Lynda; siblings Marchelle (Sheila), Troy (Wandany), Neil (Geneva) and Brad; uncles Vern, Dick and Don and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Jim was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, James W.; brother, Michael; and nephew Josh.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Salvation Army.
