Ron Paul calls for audit of the Fed

When Texas Republican Rep. Ron Paul ran for his party’s endorsement for president we reported we saw firsthand, as delegates at the state convention in Rochester, how his own party “sabotaged his campaign” by not allowing Paul’s delegates on the ballots. (This was done nationwide!) Since then we reported how he launched the Campaign for Liberty citizens group at the Minneapolis Convention Center during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul; groups are now in every state! Rep. Paul’s latest endeavor to audit the Federal Reserve has over 282 co-sponsors (it was 261 in July) — even though you won’t hear about it in the news. This is over half the members of the House!

Since the collapse of world economics last summer, the Federal Reserve has had the printing presses churning constantly putting out dollars worth now 4 cents compared to what they were in 1913 when the Federal Reserve note replaced the silver certificate based on gold. Few Americans even know that the Federal Reserve is not federal at all! It is a private banking cartel owned and operated by the world’s wealthiest financiers. The amazing story, beginning on Jekyll Island, Ga., is worth hearing — Google “Edward Griffin” or his book, “The Creature from Jekyll Island.”

Ron Paul says it’s time to open a fall accounting of the insidious practices of the central bank! This proposed legislation is bringing together Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians and independents! Contact your congressman using the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 telling him you want him to co-sponsor the bill to audit the Fed. And contact Sens. Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken at www.senate.gov or use the Capitol switchboard asking their support. Tell them you want the Fed made transparent by way of HR1207.
