I would like to thank the entire Albert Lea community for their support of North Central Regionals at the fairgrounds this past weekend. Cowboy mounted shooting is a great spectator sport, and many in the area had the chance to come and watch. Nick Gerhardt did a fantastic job at covering the event for your paper as well as other TV and radio stations in your area. Every mounted shooter felt welcomed, and the sport was well received. I would like to personally thank Norm Fredin and Troy Thompson for all of their hard work. Because of them, the event went off without a hitch. We are looking forward to coming back next year!
