Edna A. (Komulainen) Sevilla, 88, of Lakeville, formerly of Wolf Lake, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 13, 2014.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William Sevilla Sr.; loving children, John, Gregory, Patrice, Mark, James (Perry) and William Jr.; grandchildren, Hayden, Ruby, Lilly, Halli, Ella, Breana, Maddy, Cole, Max, Marrie, Jenea; great-grandchild, Able; her brother, Dennis Komulainen; sister-in-law, Glenda Komulainen; nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.

Edna was a Frazee High School graduate. She contributed to the World War II effort as an employee of Northrop Grumman in Los Angeles. Edna was a riveter of P-38 aircraft wings, like Rosie the Riveter. She was co-owner of the Bel-Aire Motel in Albert Lea from 1969 to 1988.

Edna’s proudest accomplishment was raising her six healthy, intelligent, successful children. Her grace, humor and giving nature will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

The memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church, 11194 36th St. N. in Lake Elmo. Edna’s ashes will be laid to rest in Menagha with her parents, Arvid and Anna Komulainen, sometime this spring. Please keep Edna in your thoughts and prayers. We all love you very much.
