Patrick and Amber Nechanicky, of Melrose, announce the birth of a son, Carter Liam Nechanicky, on Feb. 24, 2011. Carter weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long.

Nate and Angela Ladwig, of West Des Moines, Iowa, announce the birth of a son, William (Liam) Ladwig, on Feb. 2, 2011, at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa. William weighed 2 pounds 14 ounces and was 16 inches in length at birth. As of March 20 he weighed 5 pounds 1 ounce and was 18 inches long.

Grandparents are Bill and Julie Ladwig, of Hartland, and Matt and Theresa Grove, of Richardson, Texas. Great-grandma was Viola Ladwig, of Albert Lea.

Scott Juveland and Tammy Paulson, of Albert Lea, announce the birth of a twins, Bryxlie and Ryker Paulson, on Jan. 4, 2011, at Albert Lea Medical Center. Bryxlie weighed 6 pounds 4 ounces and Ryker weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces. They join siblings Jessica Juveland, Tyler Juveland and Mayzie Williams.

Grandparents are Dave and Kay Paulson, Darryl and Paula Juveland, and the late Marilyn Thofson. Great-grandparents are Robert and Louise Medd, Al and Rose Love and Elsie Paulson.
