Wildlife photographer visits Albert Lea

Stan Tekiela, renowned naturalist, author and wildlife photographer, gave area residents a presentation titled “Uncommon Facts About Common Birds” on April 1 at Southwest Middle School.

The event was hosted by the Albert Lea Audubon Society, and at least 100 people attended. Tekiela has agreed to return on April 7, 2015.

The Audubon Society is more than a century old and is devoted to the conservation of wildlife, not only birds.
