David Steffens Jr. of Lake Mills and Claire and Kim Johnson of  Wells announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Steffens, to Darren Levorson. Darren is the son of Steve and Eleanor Bauman of Emmons.

The bride is the granddaughter of Dave and Bonnie Steffens of Lake Mills and Gordy and Margerette Triptow of Wells.

The groom is the grandson of the late Marie and Leonard Leschefske of Albert Lea and John and Betty Bauman of Osage, Iowa.

The bride is a graduate of United South Central and the proud mother of two children, Avah and Gavin.

The groom is a graduate of Emmons High School, and the proud father of three children, Season, Lark and Gavin.

The bride works as a stay-at-home mom and part time at Norsemen Trucking in Lake Mills.

The groom works at Winnebago Industries as a service adviser.

A wedding is planned for Oct. 4, 2014, at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake.
