An Owatonna man was injured in a car collision on Minnesota Highway 14 near Waseca on Wednesday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

At about 11 p.m., 20-year-old Destry G. Boomgarten’s leg was injured when his 2000 Saturn was sideswiped one mile east of Waseca by 1998 Saturn driven by 72-year-old Beverly Watts of Rochester. Watts suffered no injuries. Boomgarten was treated and released. The exterior panels of the two driver-side doors of his four-door car were ripped off, exposing the framework.
