Every dog shall have its day.
On a designated “All About Dogs Day,” dogs will be allowed entry into the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Normally, the Arboretum is closed to canines with the exception of service dogs.
There will be different events, including a pet expo, a pack walk and a “Meet the Breeds” event.
The All About Dogs Day will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 27 in the Margot Picnic Shelter area of the Arboretum.
Advance registration is requested, and can be done so at www.arboretum.umn.edu/dogday.aspx. The preregistration fee for members is $20 and $25 for nonmembers. Walk-in registration is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. The fee is for each dog, and includes the admission of up to two human companions. $5 of every fee goes toward the nature-based therapy program at the Arboretum.
