The United South Central baseball team came through in the clutch.

Despite committing three fielding errors, the Rebels trailed 6-5 Monday against Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Truman in the bottom of the seventh inning and forced an extra inning by scoring one run.

In the eighth inning, a sacrifice by USC’s Grant Beacher drove in Cody Latusek for the walk-off game-winning run.
