Just for Kix dance teams from Albert Lea competed April 6 at the Together We Dance competition at Rochester Technical and Community College, according to a press release.

Two teams from Albert Lea took first place: the Mini Jazz team in the third- through fifth-grade division and the Mini Kix in the fifth-grade division. Four teams from Albert Lea took second place: the Mini Kix team in the fourth-grade division, the Middle Kix teams in the sixth- and seventh-grade divisions and the Middle Jazz team in the sixth- through eighth-grade division. The Senior Kix in the 10th- through 12th-grade division took third place. More than 160 Just for Kix teams competed.

Next, the dancers will compete in the Just for Kix Spring Show at 2 and 4:30 p.m. May 4 at Albert Lea High School.
