A vehicle was struck by lightning Sunday afternoon on Interstate 90 two miles west of the Alden exit.

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office said the driver of the vehicle, Blair Leigh Becker, 26, was checked out by emergency medical crews but was not injured. Her husband came to pick her up, and the car was towed.

The lightning strike was reported at 3:40 p.m.
