2 arrested for drunken driving

Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Gary Wayne Wangen, 63, for driving while intoxicated and second-degree test refusal after a traffic stop at 2:36 a.m. Friday at 481 Hillcrest Drive, Glenville.

Deputies arrested Dhan Kuon Gatkek, 42, for third-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree test refusal and no Minnesota driver’s license at 8:16 p.m. Friday on Interstate 90 near Hayward.

 

Electronics stolen

An estimated $7,200 in electronics were reported stolen at 5:46 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Break-ins reported

A house being built at 71536 200th St., Albert Lea, was reported broken into at 8:35 a.m. Friday.

A building at 12518 720th Ave., Emmons, was reported broken into at 6:17 p.m. Saturday.

 

1 cited for underage drinking

Albert Lea police arrested Cody Baines Johnson, 20, for underage drinking at 4:24 a.m. Saturday at 1020 S. Newton Ave.

 

Tires slashed on pickup

Tires on a 2005 white Chevy Silverado were reported slashed at 9:48 a.m. Saturday at 1609 Bridge Ave.

 

Woman cited for disorderly conduct

Albert Lea police cited Rosa Nilda Recio, 22, for disorderly conduct after a reported fight at 1:57 a.m. Sunday at 134 W. William St.

 

Items reported stolen

Collectible coins, bills and other cash was reported missing at 10:03 p.m. Sunday at 625 Sheridan St.

Yard decorations at 717 Pillsbury Ave. were reported stolen at 9:26 a.m. Sunday.

 

Vehicle damaged in hit-and-run

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:29 p.m. Thursday at 109 Charlotte Ave. Damage was estimated to a Ford Taurus at $4,000.
