Teenager cited after starting fire in bathroom
Police cited a 16-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon after he allegedly started a fire in a bathroom at Pioneer Park, 100 W. Hawthorne St., with a few rolls of toilet paper.
The boy was cited for criminal damage, fifth-degree arson and giving a false name.
The fire caused minimal damage to the bathroom.
Woman arrested for DWI
Albert Lea police cited Diane Olivia Groth, 49, for driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance after she reportedly hit a stop light near the intersection of Main Street and Garfield Avenue and then left the scene at 11:16 p.m. Tuesday.
Pickup reported stolen
A two-toned brown Dodge Ram was reported stolen at 1:42 p.m. Tuesday at 23336 790th Ave., Albert Lea.
Items stolen from garage
Lawn mowers, a jack and jack stand were reported missing at 10:19 a.m. Tuesday out of a detached garage at 225 S. Pearl St.
