At the March 25 meeting of the Rotary Club of Albert Lea, Earl Jacobsen, director, presented Arlene Egerdal of the Ecumenical Food Pantry with an envelope containing checks and cash totaling $1,195. This was done as part of the statewide fund drive known as March is Minnesota Food Share Month. The Ecumenical Food Pantry is located at 308 Water St. During 2010, it was visited 1,973 times, and its visitors received 84,000 pounds of food. - Submitted photo
