Democrats have to blame selves

Two recent letters to the Albert Lea Tribune must want you to distract you from the truth about what is going on in this country.
A letter from Mr. John Wojszynski wants you to think the hearings on Benghazi are a waste of time. If that was your family killed in Benghazi, wouldn’t you want the truth? The president lied, secretary of state lied, Ambassador Susan Rice lied and so did others, and Congress and those American families deserve the truth. Benghazi makes Watergate look like a joke!
In the next letter a Mr. Wayne Thorson starts, “What can we do about a do-nothing Republican Congress?” For one, let’s quit pretending that anything is all Republican and is George W. Bush’s fault. The politics of distraction from the left is quite sickening! I don’t see letters from you on the failures of Obamacare, the politicization and targeting of groups by the IRS, EPA and Department of Justice or the fact that we have record numbers on food stamps and disability in America? I didn’t see outrage when facts show that the administration fudged employment numbers to make them look better than they actually were. I don’t see the call for the resignation of the majority leader in the Senate for violation of ethics rules or the fact that the Senate has passed far-less legislation than the House of Representatives.
Yes, that’s right Congress is made up of the Democratic-controlled Senate and the Republican-controlled House.
These letters and more like them are an attempt to distract us from the problems addressing this state and this nation. It’s always somebody else’s fault to these folks like these letter writers. Who blocked the Fast and Furious investigation of weapons still killing innocents in Mexico? President Barack Obama. Who promised a thorough investigation of the IRS that hasn’t occurred? Obama. Who has failed to bring up many bills that would create necessary jobs in America? Sen. Harry Reid. who has failed to come clean on what actually happened the night Benghazi was under attack? Take your pick. And while you don’t like to think this administration is culpable for anything, they knew of issues with the VA and did nothing!
Putting more Democrats in office will change this how? A minimum wage increase (job killer), more taxes, more spending, more depletion of our military, more global warming nonsense will help us how? None of these things gets government out of our lives; it adds more uncertainty, more government and more dollars out of your back pockets. You subscribe to that thought process and vote that way. You are part of the problem, not part of the solution!
