House broken into and other reports

Man tries to break into house
Albert Lea police received a report of a man who was attempting to break in to a residence at 12:26 a.m. today at 806 James Ave. The report stated a screen on a window of the house was ripped and a man’s hand was inside the screen when the son of the caller started screaming and the man took off. He was described as being 5 foot 8 inches tall wearing a tan or gray long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. There are no suspects at this time.
Man cited for marijuana, no driver’s license
Police cited David Francisco Duenes, 29, for driving with an expired driver’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana at 1:17 a.m. today near the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Wilson Street.
