J Burton “JB” Adamec, 45, died unexpectedly of a massive brain hemorrhage Monday, June 23, 2014. JB was born in Albert Lea Dec. 9, 1968.
JB graduated from Albert Lea Senior High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, with a degree in business. He was a dedicated employee at Morin’s Siding and Window Co. who took great pride in quality craftsmanship. Though often a man of few words, JB had the biggest heart for helping others. In keeping with his loving and generous spirit, it was JB’s decision to be an organ and tissue donor so that others might live.
J was preceded in death by his grandparents and infant sister, Kelli.
He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; son, Drew; daughter, Abbi; parents, John and K; sisters Sheri (Doug) Anderson and Sheli (Bob) Clift; brother, Rob Springborg; grandmother Anna Adamec; father and mother-in-law Burton and Joyce Halvorson; sisters-in-law Cindy (Kurt) Smeby, Joni (Scott) Bidne; nieces; nephews; family and numerous friends.
Visitation was Friday at the Dougherty Funeral Home and continued on Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 230 E. Skyline Parkway in Duluth, until the start of the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a contribution be made towards his children’s educational expenses. Friends have set up an account at North Shore Bank in Hermantown.
Arrangements are being handled by Dougherty Funeral Home in Duluth.
