Boy injured by sparkler, hit-and-run and other reports

Thefts reported

Albert Lea police cited Candy Marie Haskin, 42, at 9:01 p.m. Monday for misdemeanor theft from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave., after receiving a report that she allegedly stole two camping canopies and a swimming pool from the store.

A snowmobile was reported stolen at 12:59 a.m. today from 17253 760th Ave., Albert Lea.

Boy injured by sparkler

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 10:12 p.m. Monday from the emergency room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea that a boy was injured by a sparkler. The boy received a minor burn to the back of his head. The injury was not intentional.

 

Hit-and-run reported at Applebee’s

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:51 p.m. Monday at Applebee’s, 2740 Bridge Ave.

 

Juvenile cited for underage drinking

Police cited a juvenile for a curfew violation and underage drinking at 12:28 a.m. today near the intersection of South First Avenue and West Main Street.
