The Lake Mills Chamber Development is warning local businesses against a vendor attempting to solicit ads for a new city map.

In an email alert sent out Friday, Marilyn Hoffman, executive director of the chamber development corporation, said neither the city of Lake Mills or the Lake Mills Chamber Development is in the process of printing a new map.

When the time comes to print a new map, the organizations will send a notice to businesses to make them aware of the process.
