1 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Buk Gaak Gany for driving while intoxicated at 9:59 p.m. near the intersection of Minnesota Highway 13 and Freeborn County Road 29.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 11:24 a.m. Thursday at 305 S. First Ave.

 

2 cited for shoplifting

Albert Lea police cited Jill Mardelle Register, 33, for theft at 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Merry Go Round Shoppe, 106 W. Clark St.

Police cited Wendi Sue Bertelson, 43, for shoplifting at 4:56 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

Vehicles reported damaged

A vehicle was reported tampered with at 11:53 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the Albert Lea Municipal Airport, 400 Airport Road.

A vehicle was reported scratched at 12:53 p.m. Thursday at 2323 Clayton Ave. The owner of the car had a suspect of the damage.
