Community Sew Day as a part of Shinefest will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16 and August 13, at the Senior Center at the Skyline Mall. Bring a sewing machine if possible and the sewing kits will be provided.

Last year the community sewed 100 uniform bags for Bogota, Columbia, 50 dresses for an orphanage in Jamaica and 45 quilts were given to various organizations in Freeborn County.
