Charter leaves Twins fans in dark

It turns out that while Fox Sports Net will broadcast more Minnesota Twins games than it ever has, Charter Communications will not show them all.
Twins fans found that out on Tuesday as they sought to watch the Twins take on the Yankees. It turns out the Twins beat the Yanks 5-4 in 10 innings.
Seasons for Major League Baseball teams are 162 games long. Fox Sports Net has the rights to show 150 of those games, but because of a dispute over how much FSN wants to charge Charter Communications, 45 of of the 150 games will not be shown when FSN appears via Charter cable.
Charter is not alone. It is one of four cable and satellite providers that agreed to televise 105 of 150 games.
The other providers are Dish Network, Mediacom and Cable One.
On Tuesday, it was clear that several TV listings, whether printed in the Albert Lea Tribune or online at TVGuide.com, told viewers the game would be on, when it was not. There was no prior notice from Charter to listings providers telling which games would not be televised.
Minnesota Twins executives have said they are working on the situation and want fans to be able to see the games.
