Misgen inventory manager goes from carpentry to cars

Daniel Misgen, 29, is an inventory manager at Misgen Auto Parts in Ellendale. Misgen, who lives in New Richland, talked with the Tribune about some of his interests and his desire to be in the motoring industry.
Q: What interests you about automobiles?
A: The changes they make over the years.
Q: What is your favorite car make and model?
A: ’64 Chevrolet Malibu SS Convertible.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: It’s always something different and challenging.
Q: Have you always wanted to work with automobiles?
A: No, I thought about biology but it was too much schooling.
Q: What is your favorite memory working with automobiles?
A: Fixing up “yard rigs” just to destroy them.
Q: Where did you grow up?
A: Ellendale.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Fishing and hunting.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Reuben sandwiches.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Jaws.
Q: What is one interesting fact about you?
A: I went to college for carpentry.
