Andrew Guevarra, 36, of Minneapolis died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at his home.

He was born May 5, 1978, in Hampton, Iowa, to Gaudy Guevarra and Vicki Bogue Larson. Andrew grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from Carmich School of Arts in St. Paul. Andrew worked for a short period of time before becoming disabled due to a car accident. He loved feeding the squirrels and birds and surfing the internet. He was an amazing artist and loved his cats.

Andrew is survived by his life partner, Lenor Hamby; son, Augie Guevarra; mother, Vicki Bogue Larson (Keith) of Austin; grandmother, Evelyn Bogue Haack, of Hartland; brothers Terry Blowers of Waseca, Tim Blowers (Andi) of Amboy, Tony Blowers (Sandi) of Arizona City, Ariz., Tom Blowers of West Concord, Glen Guevarra of Chicago, Jim Larson and Tim Larson of Austin; sisters Gail Ricker (Kent) of Leesburg, Ga., Beth Behrends of Mason City, Angie Nelson (Andy) of Albert Lea and Gina and Grace Guevarra of Chicago; and 10 nieces and 11 nephews.

There will be a celebration of life at noon Aug. 30 in Minnehaha Falls in Minneapolis.
