Bicyclist injured in crash and other reports

Thefts reported
Albert Lea police received a report at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday of an employee at Dollar General, 201 W. Main St., who took money and product from the store.
Items were reported stolen at 10:34 p.m. Wednesday from a house at 405 Court St.
Money was reported stolen from a desk in an office at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at Thorne Crest Retirement Community, 1201 Garfield Ave.
Bicyclist injured in crash
A 58-year-old bicyclist was transported by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea after he was reportedly struck by a car at the intersection of Bridge Avenue and Shellrock Street on Wednesday.
Police stated James Duane Colstrup was driving southbound on Bridge Avenue with traffic when he crossed into the opposing lane, continuing to drive southbound, and was struck by a 2002 red Honda driven by Michael John Simonson, 32. Simonson was westbound on Shellrock Street and was stopped at the stop sign, when he turned north onto Bridge Avenue and struck Colstrup.
The crash occurred at 3:17 p.m.
Damage reported to vehicles
A vehicle was reported keyed in the parking lot at 11:36 p.m. Wednesday of Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, 404 Fountain St.
Damage was reported to a vehicle at 1:23 a.m. Thursday at 322 E. Third St.
2 arrested for criminal damage
Albert Lea police arrested Robert James Hanson, 22, and Jordan Michael Struck, 25, for criminal damage after receiving a report at 1:37 a.m. Thursday that two intoxicated men were throwing rocks at light poles at 300 W. Clark St.
