More vehicles egged
Vehicles at 239 S. Pearl St. were reported egged at 10:20 a.m. Friday. The incident reportedly happened overnight on Thursday.
Vehicle drives through school bus stop arm
A school bus stop arm violation was reported at 5:10 p.m. Friday near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Sheridan Street. The incident took place at 3:35 p.m.
Vehicles reported stolen, one recovered
A white 1999 Ford Econoline van with its back and side windows shot out was reported stolen at 4 p.m. Friday at 2301 E. Main St.
A silver four-door Ford Escort was reported stolen at 10:40 a.m. Sunday from the Streater parking lot, 411 S. First Ave. It was later located behind a pile of railroad ties near the intersection of Ermina Avenue and Main Street near the viaduct. The keys had reportedly been left in the ignition and the vehicle was unlocked at the time it was stolen, according to police logs. When the vehicle was found, the doors were locked and no key was around.
Damage reported
A 2013 Honda Insight was reported sideswiped at 1:06 p.m. Sunday while parked at 2401 Margaretha Ave. The incident reportedly took place sometime early Sunday morning.
Windows were reported smashed out of a white car parked behind Jake’s Pizza, 126 W. Clark St., at 10:01 p.m. Friday.
A window was reported broken out at 11:38 a.m. Sunday at 232 S, Washington Ave.
1 arrested for domestic assault
Albert Lea police arrested Salvador Gomez, 30, for domestic assault at 5:18 a.m. Sunday at 1913 Johnson St.
Car wash broken into
A car wash was reported broken into sometime overnight on Thursday at 142 W. State St., Emmons, according to the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office.
Lights stolen from outside of residence
Solar lights were reported stolen at 1:04 p.m. Friday from outside 2005 West Trail Road, Albert Lea.
