ROCHESTER — Traffic for eastbound motorists on Interstate 90 was reduced beginning Friday to a single lane from Stewartville to St. Charles as crews work on two concrete repair projects, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
A repair project has been ongoing for eastbound I-90 between Stewartville and Eyota. A new project has begun from Eyota to St. Charles, so the stretch of single-lane traffic is approximately 23 total miles.
The Stewartville to Eyota stretch of work is expected to be complete in the next few weeks and the new project is scheduled to wrap up Oct. 18, weather permitting.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
