Tigers fall in season opener

The Albert Lea Tigers girls’ golf team lost its season opener Monday to the Rochester Mayo Spartans.
The Spartans shot 360 strokes to the Tigers’ 411. The Tigers’ Megan Pulley finished first with a 13-over par 84.
Tigers coach Shawn Riebe said the team is not golfing to its full potential yet.
The Tigers golf again at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Waseca.
