I completely agree with Kathy Diaz on this loud Saturday night music that has been going on some Saturday and Wednesday nights this summer. Then on Sept. 6 it was louder than ever, and on the next Saturday night, Sept. 13, there was loud music again.

I live less than a block off Broadway, and I am over 90 years old and this loud drumbeat until midnight is intolerable. Start earlier and end earlier. Better yet, put the music in the beautiful park on the end of north Broadway.

That’s where bands played when I was young.

Doesn’t Albert Lea have a noise ordinance?
