Firefighters respond to shed fire 

A fire was reported on the roof of a shed at 5:21 p.m. Monday at Bernau & Sons Inc., 11371 640th Ave., west of Emmons. The extent of the damage was unclear as of press time.

 

Thefts reported

An iPod was reported stolen at 6:41 p.m. Tuesday at 1603 Todd Ave., Albert Lea. Reports stated police talked with a suspect.

A garbage can was reported taken at 11:14 p.m. Monday at 910 James Ave.

 

3 juveniles cited for disorderly conduct

Three juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct at 4:24 p.m. Monday at City Hall, 221 E. Clark St., after police received a report of some children being disruptive in the hallway. The juveniles will not be allowed to go to the library for one year.

 

Garage broken into, items stolen

A garage was reported broken into at 8:09 a.m. Monday at 11994 765th Ave., Glenville. Items were missing.

 

1 arrested on warrant, drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Higenio Conception Madrigal, 49, at 12:28 a.m. Monday near the intersection of West Clark Street and Euclid Avenue for a Waseca County warrant and fifth-degree drug possession.

 

Counterfeit bill reported

A counterfeit $20 bill was reported at 2:24 p.m. Monday at 1452 W. Main St.
