Interstate 90 motorists in Austin will encounter a ramp and lane closure as construction crews began repairing portions of the concrete roadway last Friday, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Motorists westbound on I-90 will encounter single-lane traffic between exits 180A and 175 with the right lane closed. Motorists eastbound will encounter a ramp closure at exit 179 to 11th Drive Northeast. There is an 11-foot width limit for trucks westbound. The work began Oct. 10 and is expected to be completed by Friday, weather permitting.
