Freeborn County Sheriff Bob Kindler’s father, Hardin Kindler of Lynd, died Sunday night.

The sheriff’s debate scheduled for tonight in the lecture hall of Riverland Community College in Albert Lea has been rescheduled for 8:15 p.m. Oct. 27.

The forum for Freeborn County commissioner District 4 candidates also is rescheduled. It will precede the forum at 7 p.m.

A political profile slated to run about Kindler in today’s Tribune will run at a later date because the sheriff was unavailable.
