The Albert Lea girls’ soccer team beat Mankato West 2-1 Tuesday in the Section 2A semifinals at Jim Gustafson Field.
The Tigers — the No. 1 seed — advanced to the section finals to play No. 6-seed Mankato Loyola, who upset St. Peter 1-0, (7-6 in the shootout).
