Tigers set pool record

The Albert Lea girls’ swimming team toppled the pool record in the 200-yard medley relay set by Rochester John Marshall in 2009.

The Tigers broke the old record of 1:52.79 by posting a time of 1:51.63 Tuesday in a 94-84 win over Northfield.

Members of the relay team for Albert Lea were Bailey Sandon, Lindsey Horejsi, Ahnika Jensen and Emily Taylor.
