Stolen vehicle recovered
A black Chevy Silverado stolen from Mower County was reportedly recovered at 8:43 a.m. Sunday in front of 509 W. College St., Albert Lea. Police stated the truck appeared to have been dumped there. No arrests were made.
2 cited for drug possession
Albert Lea police arrested Esperanza Beatrice Cardenas, 25, on a local warrant and new charges of fifth-degree meth possession, introduction of contraband into a correctional facility and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 9:18 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Sunset Street and Minnesota Highway 13. David James Hockinson, 27, was cited for driving after cancellation.
Police cited Adam David Wacek, 30, for driving after revocation and drug possession at 4:26 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop at 22116 County Road 45.
Items stolen
Multiple items were reported stolen at 4:39 p.m. Saturday from 713 Johnson St. Items taken included an Xbox, two wireless controllers and six gold rings.
Items were reported missing from a vehicle at 11:48 a.m. Sunday at 2011 Neale St.
Items stolen
Items were reported stolen at 2:13 p.m. Monday from the back yard at 522 St. Peter Ave.
A tarp and some metal were reported missing from a yard at 5:15 p.m. Monday at 123 Adams Ave. The theft took place sometime between Sunday and Monday afternoon.
A wallet was reported stolen at 5:30 p.m. Monday from 1406 Kirkwood Ave.
Tires slashed
Tires were reported slashed on a vehicle at 9:03 a.m. Sunday at 1017 Swanhill Drive.
House broken into
A burglary was reported at 5:27 a.m. Monday at 1407 St. John Ave.
Hit-and-run reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported to police at 10:31 a.m. Monday at 1201 Garfield Ave. The crash reportedly took place on Friday.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:41 p.m. Monday near the Main Street McDonald’s. The suspect vehicle was a maroon Jimmy Blazer.
Property damaged
Criminal damage to property was reported at 2 p.m. Monday at 1501 W. Front St.
Vehicle rummaged through
A vehicle was reported rummaged through at 6:33 p.m. Monday at 811 St. Thomas Ave. The incident reportedly took place Saturday night.
