My co-chairwoman June Etienne and I would like to thank all our volunteer workers and customers for a very successful fall Friends of the Library book sale.

The Sentence to Serve workers and supervisor did an outstanding job with set up and take down, and we couldn’t do it without them. Michelle Gurung of the Albert Lea Public Library staff did a wonderful job on the advertising posters for us, and we are very appreciative of her efforts. The Albert Lea Engineering Department went out of its way to make the garage accessible and available for us.

The profits from this sale and the one in the spring support library programming. Stop at the Fountain Lake Bookstore on the first floor of City Hall to either donate books or buy gently used items. Again, thank you to all for supporting this sale and volunteering your time to ensure its success.
